Positives : Very friendly and available staff. The hostel is close enough to the center (15 minute walk). Breakfasts are simple and sufficient. Negatives : The shower is very, very tiny.

This was a cute little lodge-type hotel. Staff was really friendly and breakfast was very good. I loved the decor in the common area and the cabin feel of the place. Room was a little cramped (especially the shower) but it was great for what we needed for one night.

What a delightful surprise! I picked this hotel because it is close to the bus station, but it turned out to be one of our favorite hotels of our month-long journey through Patagonia. We will stay there again in a couple days. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. Shampoo and conditioner provided and water pressure was good. Very clean.

Great staff and a welcoming experience. Room is small but very clean. Location is a bit away from town center, about 15 walk, but conducive for a good night sleep. Had a very pleasant experience!! Vanmaly

We stayed here twice during our adventures in Patagonia. Both times, it was a very special experience. The staff (probably the owner and her employees) were among the kindest we’ve ever come across. They accommodated all our special requests, including a ridiculously early breakfast the day we visited the Perito Moreno Glacier. (The breakfasts were delicious and ample.) The rooms were spotlessly clean and the beds comfortable. There was plenty of hot water and very high water pressure in the shower. You can walk to the bus station, but we opted for a taxi because the hotel is on a very rough dirt road with lots of pot holes.

Our favorite hostel

We stayed at several hostels during our Patagonia trip and this was our favorite. It is really more like a B&B. Family run, very welcoming. We really enjoyed the breakfast and courtyard!

The staff were kind and helpful. The breakfast was very good. Yummy eggs and toast. And the coffee was perfect. The whole place is very quaint. I sat in the garden and watched birds. Also the bees pollinating all of the beautiful flowers. It’s a mini botanical garden. It’s close to the bus terminal, a 10-15 minute walk (uphill). It wasn’t a bad walk to town for dinner either.
The view from the Rukahue is amazing. Mountains, lake and even a beautiful sunset.

The staff were amazing! Breakfast service was excellent. Our room was small but we were out all day anyway. There were a few maintenance issues that needed to be done such as the bathroom sink/vanity were not attached to the wall properly. It is a 15 minute walk into the town. (Uphill on the way home though!). We were delighted to drop our laundry at the front desk one day and the next day it was clean and folded and left on our bed.
