The rooms were clean. The staff were hospitable and friendly, they were able to provide an extra room at short notice. The only issue was the room that I had booked and paid for one night was given to another client. Other than that, Masurina Lodge was great.

Great room. Nice staff. Fantastic pizza. We ran out of toilet tissue, hot water, cold water, and tea bags a couple of times. Wifi worked only at the end of our stay. Free laundry service was terrific and only one t-shirt was ruined. Information about Milne Bay would be helpful so that guests know where to explore.

Safe accommodation in Alotau

Pros - free daily laundry service, free toast and coffee for breakfast, the place felt safe and secure, restaraunt on site with good room service meals, friendly security and service in restaurant and bar. Cons - Wifi was down, hot water not working most days, small bed for two people, two different reception ladies tried to get us to pay for room on checkout although fully paid at time of booking.
