The room is advertised to have 2 beds however one turned out to be a leather couch that flattens into a « bed ». Sleeping on a leather surface, even with a bed sheet, is highly uncomfortable.
Hidden fees of 40$ per day were added.
No laundry soap was available.
Only 1 tv remote for 2 tvs.
No gym towels available.

We stayed at this beachfront property in Fort Lauderdale for 3 days with our toddler. The location and views were beautiful, but our experience was mixed.
What we liked:
• Direct beachfront access and stunning ocean views
• Well-maintained pools and property
What we didn’t like:
• Check-in took too long, which was hard with a toddler.
• We experienced no water in the shower and received no response from staff.
• The property is not toddler-friendly—even the main gate lacks a child safety lock.
• There was no heating on a cold day, making the room uncomfortable.
• The AC unit door did not close properly, creating a child safety concern.
• The kitchen was missing basic items like a blender and chopping board.
• The direct elevator to our apartment floor was not working for all three days, requiring a detour through the parking level, which was very time-consuming.
Overall:
Amazing location and views, but service, accessibility, and family-friendly features need improvement. Better suited for couples than families with young children

Good: beach access, pool, view from balcony, comfortable mattress, young gentlemen at the front desk was very polite and helpful.
Bad: very slow elevators that stops often, rooms are dirty, bathrooms are gross, kitchen is not equipped well, slow internet, resort fees are high, drinks at the pool's bar are very expensive... Be aware, tip is always included and you cannot bring your own drinks from outside.

The valet was horrible during check in. Definitely needs different staggered check in times. Very chaotic and rude at times. Not in walking distance to the boardwalk. Not very kid friendly. Not a lot in proximity to do. Room was clean. Beach was clean.

My family of 5 enjoyed our stay!
The lobby was beautiful.
The room was great, a little unclean, but great. The beach was easy to access.
The pool was nice, a little not kid friendly, but nice.
Yes the elevator took forever and the valet was slow but I understand that. It was no problem for us!
Only thing that I would say we didn’t like was how expensive everything was.

Apartment was nice but not clean. Property was fifty , crowded, poorly run. Took one hour to check in. No seating or towels at pool. Employees even admitted that they have serious issues with how the property is managed.

It was very bad, I usually never write reviews , but this time I decided to because it was that bad.
We have stayed at this hotel last year and it went well, room, amenities, staff, in general a good stay. BUT this year, we were assigned room 1504 and let me tell you this was no 5 star nor like the pictures…
The carpets were filthy dirty, the dining tables were fabric and were not grey beige they were dirty with stains . The room smelled very bad, there was no safe to put our personal things. The dryer door had no handle, the patio door didn’t lock, and to top it off the dishwasher didn’t work.
So when I called front desk, I was told had to speak with the property owner, since we booked with Expedia, so once we got a hold of him, (property manager) he told me that they knew about the safe that it was broke and were getting a new one but not in time for our stay, the dishwasher he knew about and lied to me telling me the garage disposal didn’t work and they tried to fix it before our stay but didn’t work and never thought of mentioning the dishwasher. We were a family of 6 so imagine not having a dishwasher. Honestly they knew about everything and nothing was done . After contacting Expedia, then they sent someone to fix at least the dishwasher. But nothing else. It will definitely be the last time we stay at this hotel. We travel to Florida twice a year but first time we experience this. honestly don’t know how we stayed in this room, it was disgustingly dirty .

The apartament that I’ve booked was for 4 people but the suite they gave us is only for 3 people it’s means that we had to sleep 3 people in one queen bed and the sofa is just for 1 person, it’s terrible.

I loved the atmosphere at the property, the room was nice and clean. Although I did not like the fact I was told $75 for valet parking and was charged $112. I also didn't like the fact that we were required to use hotel towels at the beach if we used one of the chairs and hotel towels at the pool, instead of our own. Drinks at the pool were incredibly expensive considering the amount we received and we weren't allowed to bring in any drinks, although I noticed food and drinks around the pool that were not purchased. We also felt a little uncomfortable with security constantly walking around the pool.

Very very dirty room! Most of the things in the room were broken, such as the shower head, door handles, dressers. Dirty walls, floors, carpets…
The cleaning lady even tried to charge us afterwards for the broken things! Beware of the scam! Make sure to let them know what’s broken right after check in.
Will not stay at property again!

El Hotel es nuevo, pero tiene muchos detalles de mala calidad. Estuve en una unidad cuyas ventanas no cerraban bien, la limpieza era muy mala, los herrajes, utensilios de cocina y baño están oxidados, los televisores viejos y de los peores. La sábana y almohadas con olor a viejo, sucio y mal oliente Higiene de la unidad muy mala.
Me queje y me dijeron que me vaya otro lugar y devolvían el dinero. O sea que vas a un 4 estrellas, para buscarte allí otro. El proprerty manager muy mala atención. No lo recomiendo.

Front desk quite unwelcoming and rude. As soon as we arrived, you are faced with a stressful vibe, there was confusion as we were renting in the residence but the black lady on the hotel frontdesk side(sorry can’t remember her name) was quite unpleasant and was irritated that we didn’t know where to stand, which is a desk next to it that says Owners 🙃
We were then given access to the condo for 4pm checkin, but to our surprise the cleaning lady was still there and asked us for an extra 30min, claiming they only notified her to clean the unit around 3pm.
I noticed people working there quite unhappy and miserable, which unfortunately affects your mood and experience.
In the other hand, location, pool, everything else was great.
They need to invest in hiring better.

I’m being nice here and trying to help this hotel. Had to buy own toilet paper and wash towels all week. No maid service. Had to fix tv. No service. Security interrogating people at beach and pool lots of arguing. No main bar in lobby to congregate. You’ll need to Uber or drive everywhere. As one guest put it “you’ll spend half your trip in the elevator” unfortunate he was right as only one elevator for 40 floors and 400 rooms! Service non existent, asked for bikes and clerk said look outside somewhere. If I owned this business I’d be strongly watching the manager of the hotel as something is wrong here. I thought Hyde was a good brand?

The condo was in a terrible condition. The walls are dirty with some hole, Toilet doesn't flush unless you wait 15 minutes, carpet is torn and filthy, chairs and soft were dirty. The owners were advised, said that they would send housekeeping, then when they wanted to send them, we were out. I had property manager come and take pictures; his comment was ''we will have to shut unit down and force owners to change carpet, furniture and repaint''. On another note, you sometimes have to wait 15 minutes for an elevator, and chairs are not available at pool unless you go at 8:30 am. The cherry on the cake is that Hyde resort takes a $250 deposit to make sure we don't damage the property, and it gets reimbursed 7 to 10 working days after you check out. What a scam!
