My family and I greatly enjoyed the Camp Verde Hotel. My wife and daughters thought the decor was very cute. The room was spacious with all basic amenities. It had a nostalgic feel with a real key for the door and it was conveniently located near a gas station and centrally located for our sight seeing to Montezouma’s Castle and Montezouma’s Well.

The staff and location are really great. Easy to park and unload. Can walk to a really good restaurant called The Bullpen. The problem is it's rundown. The showerhead barely provided water, the main lamp switch the is about to break and the minimalist ac leaked at 2 am.

Location-wise, it was great. The room was clean and comfortable. I liked the kitchenette, little dining room, and full refrigerator. The toilet, though, was noisy when you got up. They need to glue it at the bottom. The room also had a pungent smell that lingered while sleeping, but I think it just needs air fresheners. The place was quiet at 6 pm, but the tenants are noisy until around 10:30 pm, talking outside their rooms. The manager was nice and friendly.

Pleasantly surprised by our stay. Easy to check in, room was nicer than I expected and it was clean. Property itself was outdated and could use work but the bed was comfy and we had everything we needed. Would stay again!
