8/10 Good

Great location & breakfast, try for a superior room that overlooks the cathedral and not the rear of the hotel, coz damn
John, 2-night trip

6/10 Okay

My room 129 was located remotely, very dull, paint peeling off the bathroom door and surround, shower not flexible and water draining off very slowly, and after the shower water leakage from under the tub onto the floor. Breakfast and staff were very good.
Pravinkumar, 2-night trip

10/10 Excellent

All staff I encountered where exceptionally friendly and helpful with good knowledge of local area. Lovely choices of full hot and cold buffet breakfast. Fantastic evening meals in the restaurant, though limited choice if staying more than two nights. Amazing location just a few hundred yards from the Cathedral and Castle at a reasonable price. Very clean comfortable room overlooking the Cathedral with everything you need. Best sleep ever! Definitely returning.
Carol, 3-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Loved the view, meal much improved menu, great. The air con was a blessing.
Marie, 2-night trip

4/10 Poor

Great location, nice staff, terrible state of repair and cleanliness
Peter, 2-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Excellent position gor exploring the cathedral and castle. Good pubs and restaurants close by. Easy on site parking.
Steve, 2-night trip

8/10 Good

Staff very good and friendly. Breakfast excellent. Rooms are dated but they are working on that as a private hotel.
Donna, 2-night trip

8/10 Good

Excellent location right by the Cathedral, plenty of on-site parking (at a daily rate). We had a balcony overlooking the Cathedral, but had to ask for chairs to use on it. Paintwork in parts was a little tired and scuffed. No fridge in the room, only a kettle.
Richard, 3-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Couple weekend stay

We stayed in room 214 superior with cathedral view.

8/10 Good

We have stayed many times at this hotel and love the area. The Hotel is at the top of the hill just out side the cathedral and has a nice seating area outside. The staff are very friendly and the breakfast is delicious. The decor in the is slightly dated but overall a very comfortable Hotel.
Sandra, 1-night trip

8/10 Good

Very nice hotel, convenient for castle and cathedral. Great garden room, bathroom could do with a little touch up. All areas look like some update was done, but more was needed. Good breakfast, gf bread and sausages. All in all I would not hesitate to stay again.
Stephanie, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

The setting looking out to Lincoln cathedral
Darren, 2-night trip

10/10 Excellent

A wonderful stay at the Lincoln hotel. We went to see Sting at Lincoln Castle the Lincoln Hotel was a perfect choice as within walking distance of the venue. Not to mention the hotel overlooks the Cathedral and gives stunning views of it. We decided at the last minute to eat in the hotel the food was top rate but i felt a bit sorry for the one lady running the whole thing however it was a tuesday night so maybe usually on weekdays they are not so busy. Breakfast was excellent and a lot more staff evident and seeing to everyone's needs so maybe the hotel had compensated for the night before. A really lovely stay. We will definitely go again.
Stunning view of cathedral at night from our mini balcony
Not a bad view from our room this afternoon at The Lincoln Hotel
Kate, 1-night trip

4/10 Poor

I was hoping for a 60s retro experience, but some major spending needs to be done to make this hotel more attractive - even just pictures in the rooms. I would return it to the car park at the front and a walled garden at teh back. The astro-turf is awful. Why not open the original reception instead of coming in the trades entrance? Missing a trick I felt.
Aileen, 2-night trip

6/10 Okay

The Hotel is in a beautiful location opposite lincoln cathedral and a walk from all the attractions. The breakfast and evening meal was very good. Parking is also a bonus . Unfortunately the Hotel is in great need of a refurbishment ,the furnishings are very old worn and dirty the hall ways and curtains are in much need of a clean very dusty and smelly . The room its self was also old and worn stains on the chairs were not a pleasent sight .I was very disappointed . The staff were polite and helpful.
Julie, 2-night trip

Staff were lovely, and helpful.

Great location

Great place to stay in a central location. Parking is good, breakfast is great. Clean hotel area.
Stuart, 1-night trip

8/10 Good

Stayed here a few years ago & loved the area. Staff & hotel location excellent, as was breakfast. It would have been a 5 star on all but the accessible bathroom was slippery. The shower was temperamental which made the whole bathroom floor wet & slippery. They provided a slip mat to stand on whilst showering but it still felt unsafe.Being an older hotel they had done their best upgrading but it still felt unsafe to us.
Janice, 3-night trip

8/10 Good

Excellent location almost adjacent to the Cathedral and the old city. Older hotel, but well maintained. Wonderful views from bedroom window.
michael, 1-night trip

Lovely Lincoln

Just back from an enjoyable 6 nights stay at The Lincoln Hotel. Room was perfect for our needs. Very good room service, lovely fresh towels if needed. Excellent breakfast. Ideally situated for Cathedral, Castle and other places of interest. Plenty of eating options.
Pauline, 6-night trip

8/10 Good

Food/staff very good but entire building needed redecorating, new carpets, curtains, furniture, felt like going back to the 70's. Room poor, no aircon, bathroom small and dated. Overall everthing shabby and disappointing, thought would be a lot better !! Think location is the only factor that keeps this hotel going. NEEDS LOTS OF INVSTMENT !
Ian, 2-night trip

8/10 Good

Excellent position, the Hotel is a little tired looking although the room was comfortable. Staff were welcoming and helpful too.
Clare, 1-night trip

8/10 Good

Everything was fine, close to shops and amenities. Enjoyed our stay very much Thank you Brenda and Brian
Brian, 2-night trip

8/10 Good

The Lincoln Hotel was perfectly positioned for our 4 day break in Lincoln, directly opposite tge cathedral. Having an onsite car park was a also a key factor. We had a nice Sunday lunch in the hotel when we arrived on Sunday.
Chris, 3-night trip

10/10 Excellent

My husband dined alone in the evening and had fish and chips. It was terrible. May have been re heated and was burned and the fish full of water.
