I love the Clipper Inn, the owner is great and the staff are too. The place is well-kept and very nice. Our bed was a bit too firm, we both woke up sore but a simple mattress pad would do the trick. My only other suggestion would be designated parking space for Inn guests.

I didn't like the dusty towel rack in the bathroom, the dead bugs on the window sill, or the spider on the ceiling. Loved that there was a patio, but it wasn't clean. Everything else was good.

The bed frames were a little noisy and had a soft matress but overall it was okay. Not much to do in the nearby town Clayton, but you have access to cruises, state parks in minutes
