OK place to stay before a cruise. The room was spacious and had nightstands and electrical outlets on both sides of the bed, plus more outlets by the desk. There wasn't much around to eat, though, so we were dependent on the in-house restaurant, which isn't open for lunch and for dinner had slow service (fine for adults just biding their time, but our grandkids weren't as patient). Breakfast was good, with an adequate variety, but staff couldn't keep up with refilling needs (there was a long wait for more bacon, for example). My husband enjoyed the gym and pool. The hotel provides a free airport shuttle, but it's less frequent than for the other Marriott properties in the area. (Three of the other passed by in the time I waited 1/2 hour for this one.)

well upon our stay on March 20, 2026 Friday your firer alarm went off at three in the morning. no staff to tell whats going on. no announcement over the PA for any information, very sadly handle, very sadly your employ at the front desk had no clue on what to do, what to say, how to handle the problem at all, no other of your employ was on hand to help with anything, to me, it look like he was the only one on duty at your hotel that night , no firer trucks showed up, until an guess call it in , because your system did not alert them, kind of scary thought. So do you not have a security person on duty, another part about your hotel. no check to see if something was on fire, no door to door to check on people, only half your guess came down to see if it was a real firer, for the alarm going off three times, and no firer trucks and half the people coming out, if this was real you would of have real disaster on your hands in all my, stay with this hotel was not good, for that night, and because we booked two nights with you and did not want to lose any money, we stayed at the end of course too. that night was somewhat better except for the room was cold, the air would not turn, off or go down, do anything. I picked your hotel because we thought it was convenient, easy to and from the airport, which that was another thing , for every half hour shuttle, we waited an hour and half poorly run. So unfortunately we will not stay at this hotel again.

1st 2 members of our group had their room reservation canceled despite having it confirmed 48 hrs earlier! They couldn’t stay near us and didn’t have a car. Then our dishwasher was out of service. We asked to have it fixed and was told they’d replace it the next day. We gave permission to enter our room. Came back and no dishwasher! Asked again and was told they tried to deliver it but we didn’t answer the door! Then why ask us permission? Told it would be in the next day! Came back and still NO Dishwasher!! When we arrived on 4th floor, there were 4 industrial dryers and you could smell the mildew in the air.

Everything was good except for Breakfast on Monday and housekeeping. We ran out of toilet paper and I went to the front desk and the lady entered it on the log for the room, watched the lady enter the information. It took 20 hours to have the toilet paper delivered and I had to call the desk and ask again.

Stayed here for one night before our cruise from Fort Lauderdale. Clean, all of the staff were really welcoming and friendly, and even offered advice for getting to Port Everglades. Weve stayed in a couple of hotels in Miami before getting on ships and this was easily the least chaotic! We'll definitely stay again!
