A very high standard room in a lovely setting. We had problems communicating and received no check in instructions but this was rectified by a member of staff coming in to sort out. Kangaroos walked past the window and koalas, echidnas and exotic birds were nearby. There was also no wifi near the rooms, just by reception. However it was a very pleasant stay and deserves 5 stars.

Quiet and Quaint

Property is quaint as described. The Koala walk indeed does provide many chances to see them in the trees above. There are lots of birds on the island as well.

The Koala were simply amazing. The Abbey was a great place to stay - we were right in the middle of it. Wonderful.

We enjoyed a quiet stay in an older property which had everything we needed. Appreciated being allowed to charge our EV at the laundry block. It was fun catching the ferry over to the island and there was nice a sense of community. The koala trail in the morning was fantastic and unexpected - there are lots and I've never seen them in the "wild" before.

Very Clean unit. Basic amenities for kitchen and bathroom. Have to bring own shampoo and body soap. Lovely and quiet with nature all around.

Spacious but slightly dated.

Rooms are spacious and comfortable but a bit run down and dated. In one of our rooms we had a large number of moths flickering about, but when they were dealt with we enjoyed staying in the rooms. Each room has a fridge, coffee maker, coffee/tee and a small dining table and chairs. The surroundings were very dry (no rain for a while) so looked a bit run down as well, but this might be partly due to the drought. We saw plenty of kangaroos on the lawn and on the island and tons of Koalas and beautiful birds. All in all a nice experience.

Raymond Island is spectacular. The hotel is in a great location. However, the rooms need a can of paint to freshen them up and please get some comfortable beds. Not a good value for the price you are charging.
