Unique property, great breakfast and service. Coffee machine on ground floor lounge room was very welcome as was the lovely cake or slice that was left for guests. We stayed on the top floor where there was a beautiful view.

Beautiful surroundings, warm welcome on arrival and a lovely surprise room upgrade! Clean spacious rooms, tea and biscuits stocked up daily with house keeping. Very nice breakfast and great options. Staff are pleasant, professional and very friendly. I especially enjoyed the daily fresh bakery by the coffee machine in the communal lounge! Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be returning

Had a lovely 2 day stay at the Grange Country House. When we got there we were greeted by Michael who was very welcoming and then to top it off he informed us we had been given a free room upgrade. Beautiful property. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious, rooms were clean and comfortable and was in walking distance to Keswick. Would definitely stay there again. Thank you to all the staff.

This is a fabulous property giving first class decor service and food. From arrival it is relaxed and informal with everything you could want from a guest house. The owners and staff all give the best service and breakfast is the best of everything.

When arrived shown room which was fine. I dropped the breakfast menu which went under bed, when i went to pick it up i looked under bed it was full of rubbish not just bits but packets& crisps. Beautiful place to stay. Stall all very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. We were in an attic room , it was beautifully decorated and view was fabulous. Plenty of outside seating where you could consume your own drinks. Glasses and ice were provided. It a 15-20 minute walk into Keswick mainly downhill. Coming back the hill is a bit challenging but there are a few seats to break your journey and I certainly wouldn’t let it put you off. I’m nearly 70 and I managed the walk twice a day.

Fantastic hosts, couldn’t do enough for you. Breakfasts absolutely delicious and service excellent. Bed comfy. Everything spotlessly clean. Fabulous view from our bedroom window and lovely sunny terrace. Only drawback was our bathroom - shower and toilet in small cupboard with washbasin in the bedroom but would not stop us going again as everything else was perfect. Can highly recommend.
