This is a simply beautiful hotel. Our room was stylish and very comfortable. What really makes this hotel though is the staff! Although the place could do with a bit of renovation it maintains an air of decorum that’s hard to find these days. Rooms are clean and laundry crisp white clean. My only gripe is it says pool is heated and it wasn’t when I was there. Roof terrace is lovely and food was great. The best thing about this place is the staff who are all super attentive and genuine. Overall a great stay and I would return primarily for the location and great highly professional staff.

Hidden Gem in a busy Medina

Heure Bleue was clean comfortable and the staff was super friendly. The restaurant was surprisingly good too. We had a nice stay. It was right at the entrance of the Essaouria Medina which made it quite convenient for going out and shopping. The roof top was quite nice but definitely can get windy like everywhere else in the area. They have a small parking lot and the one thing they can improve on is having a bigger sign indicating the parking lot for the hotel. There are a lot of other people trying to get you to park in their lots for money and it was very overwhelming. Overall we had a nice stay and the service was really friendly and helpful.

Charming colonial style place

Charming place with good service and nice touches such as the check in and check out biscuits! Rooms aren’t that big but have a lovely character and features. Breakfast was great and spa treatment very nice. Pool area is nice although the pool is fresh - good for lengths but not warm enough for a loll about! (February). Nice to have a billiard/pool room although could do with a new cue! Lovely courtyard atmosphere with musicians early evening. We didn’t eat dinner here as lots of good (and more reasonable!) options in the town but am sure it will have been nice! Glad we stayed here.
