We booked this property based on the photos and description, which suggested a bright room with a sea view. Unfortunately, the reality was quite different. Our room was located at the back of the property with very limited natural light and no meaningful view. This was not clearly communicated in the listing. The overall cleanliness was below expectations. There was a noticeable smell in the room, and we found a used deodorant left underneath the children’s bunk bed, which had not been removed prior to our arrival. The room layout was also misleading. The “parents’ sleeping area” is not a separate room but rather a raised bed with very limited space, which was not clear from the description. Additionally, there is no on-site staff before check-in opens at 3:30 pm, meaning guests may have to wait outside with no access or assistance. Due to these issues, we decided not to stay and left immediately.

Great stay in Hastings. Hotel was clean and compact with a fridge in the room and sea view. Stayed here with our dog free of charge which was a really lovely bonus. Would 100% return. Only real issue was no parking which we were aware of but plenty of paid car parks close by. But travelling by train is easy too as the hotel is only 7 minutes walk with frequent taxis.

The hotel itself was nice and the room was good. The single glazed windows meant you could hear the road noise and the music from the sunken bar (we think) on the Saturday night. You were near most things and the sea view was nice.

Hotel was ok,clean ,staff very friendly. We gad a double room, if was quite small, no bedside table. And no extra pillows . Downside was when the staff went intk our toom to drop of tea bags, tgey didn't lock our door. Luckily nothing was stolen from our room. But it was not good for that yo happen.
