Pensionat på stille villavej i bydelen Garmisch. Instruktion til nøgleboks fungerede fint. Der er ingen elevator. Indtjekning næste morgen en smule besværlig, men det viste sig at være pga et system, der bl.a. gav rabat til museet Richard Strauss Institut. God seng og fint badeværelse med kombineret badekar og bruser, kan dog være lidt besværligt, hvis man er gangbesværet. Dejlig morgenmad i en stor udestue med udsigt til skøn have den ene vej og høje bjerge den anden vej. Et skønt sted. Kan varmt anbefales.

Great Guesthouse

We are just back from an 8 night stay at Gasthaus Maria. Mr. & Mrs. Thier were very welcoming and friendly. Our room was large, spotlessly clean with an ensuite shower room and a large balcony with table and chairs. The views of the mountains were outstanding. Breakfast was buffet style with plenty of choice ie. fresh fruit salad, fruit, bread, rolls, cold meats, cheeses etc, scrambled eggs, sausages and boiled eggs. Plenty of choice. We usually stay at a 4 star hotel when we visit Garmisch but in future we will stay at the Gasthaus Maria.
