Trendy hotel on the outskirts of the old town. Looks very dull from the outside but very nice inside. Fabulous welcome service with a free glass of wine. Parking in basement. Comfy good size room. Friendly, very helpful staff. Restaurante is very good. But if you are staying there and you need to work, the chair/table in the room is unsuitable of sitting and working. Room otherwise is very clean and good. I visit Gottingen for work, so next time I will find another hotel.

We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel during our stay. Both excellent (but not cheap). 5 stars for the downstairs, the food, and the staff. The beds are too soft, and the curtains barely cover the windows, so you might not get a great night's sleep. In winter at least it would not be light at 5AM but in summer - you are not going to get a lie-in, even if you don't mind a too-soft mattress. A shame - downstairs looks like a lot of thought went into it, and the location just opposite the StadtWall of Innenstadt is terrific, and also a short walk from the railway station.
