We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was spotless and had all the facilities we could possibly ask for including a secure private garden section with decking area, perfect for the dogs. The breakfast offered a wide variety of options, all consisting of excellent locally sources ingredients expertly cooked. The property was conveniently located a short drive from Chatsworth House, Bakewell and a number of other tourist attractions. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again or to recommend to others.

Very clean and quiet. Upgraded to the Garden suite which was lovely. Nice pub next door with food. Fun climb onto the Moors behind the B&B. Great stay !
Only stayed for one night but would definitely return and would happily stay for longer also.
The location is perfect, lovely family/dog friendly pub next door. Lovely walks right out of the door.

This was our first B&B on our ramble through England, and it set the bar very high. The place is beautifully appointed, immaculately clean, comfortable, and in a gorgeous spot. The manager was available and helpful, and breakfast was delicious. Outstanding!

Weekend away with our dog. The B&B was wonderful! The room was comfortable with a deck and small garden. Had direct access to the edges and moors, which the dog enjoyed.
Breakfasts were lovely and had a choice of cakes too in the afternoon / evening which were very delicious.

This is the perfect stay for those who holiday with their hound. Our room had its own private garden which backed on to a popular pathway. Our every need was catered for - from a welcome cake to a delicious breakfast and plenty of drinks for the room. There are dog-friendly restaurants nearby, including the lovely Devonshire Arms. You’re only a short drive away from Chatsworth and Bakewell etc.
