Lovely B&B a few minutes walk to the centre. The owners are super friendly and the room was very comfortable and large with ncie views of some of the surrounding hills. Very good breakfast. Easy parking on site or the road just round the corner from the hotel. Would recommend and would stay again

Giles and Andrea run a tight ship with the friendliest of service and highest standards. The B&B is situated in the heart of Amblside with on site parking! A boon. I would thoroghly recommend it for a stay in the Lakes..

Fabulous b&b recently bought by new owners who were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious…full Cumbrian, vegetarian or breakfast sandwiches all accompanied by fresh fruit, yoghurts, cereal and toast. All produce locally sourced which i love. We had single rooms which were small but more than adequate in size as a base. Lovely crisp, high quality bedding and luxury pure lakes toiletries.

Great, friendly and accommodating. My only disappointment was I had to leave too early on my 2nd day to have the cooked breakfast, which was delicious the 1st day, with good quality local produce that tasted amazing.

Very clean room with a really comfortable bed. Room 11 had very nice views and a new bathroom installation. No noise when we stayed. USB charging port on bedside sockets. Hairdryer. Tea, coffee bags also fresh milk usually available from downstairs fridge. Really good breakfast: fresh orange; fresh fruit etc.; perfectly cooked and quickly served. Adequate parking (my car is quite large and hasn't the best turning circle, so had to reverse out) Ambleside is small, so not far to walk to the bars and eateries.

Lovely hotel with superb hosts Matt and Lucy. Our overnight stay was brilliant. Our room (11) was sparkling clean with everything you could want. A good selection of tea and coffee plus biscuits. The bathroom was lovely with a deep bath and plenty of hot water. Breakfast was was hot and tasty and also a selection of cereals, yogurts etc. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely winter weekend. The B&B is perfectly central. The hosts were lovely and welcoming, rooms excellent and spacious for the Lakes and breakfast was excellent!! We would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay.
