Ok, so the flat is in an awesome area. Close to every kind of transport so easy walk from train or taking tram to airport. Quick walk to all the main sights and fabulous food options. The place is on ground floor and high ceilings give spacious feel. Unfortunately place is not very well cared for. Bunk bed can feel springs through the mattress and place has slight musty smell throughout. Broken chairs in the living room and the extra bed cots were both broken. Front windows don't open or door in kitchen, so limited airflow. There is a terrace area out back but so grown over that impossible to access. WIFi did not work the 5 days we were there, but not a big deal for us but keep in mind if vital for your stay. Overall had a great time but would look elsewhere if we were to come back.

We were allowed to check in early so headed to the apartment. Unfortunately there were large amounts of mould and dust in the apartment. There were also bags of wet/dirty linen and towels in the master bedroom wardrobe. The bedding was described as ‘premium’ in the details but it is definitely not. The location is close to the city centre but there are lots of other nicer places to stay in the same price range and would suggest choosing one of those.

This a beautiful Georgian flat in the New Town. 15 foot high ceilings, huge living room, 2 bedrooms, modern kitchen and bathroom. The batbroom was functional, but a bit of decayed opulence. The wall that met the tub had some peeling paint issues, didn’t impact bathrooms functionality. The kitchen was great. Washing machine and a ceiling based drying rack for laundry. Beds were comfy. Location is 5 star. Two street back from Princes street, 15 minue walk to Old Town, close to great dining optilns on St Andrews Square, and a local Sainsburys for small groceries (tea, coffee, bread etc). We walked everywhere, 30 minutes from Dean Village, 20 minutes to Castle or Calton Hill. 10 minutes to Waverly. I cannot stress how great the location is. The apartment is also on a nice quiet street. Pub on the corner, restaurants less than 5 minutes away. Perfect. I would stay here again. Good. Communication with the hosts via email also.

Charming, old flat in a nice location in New Town. Easy communication and self check in. Restaurants and shops in area. Note the walk up to Royal Mile is all uphill from this flat. Possible but taxing. We did it first day then took bus up to old town and walked back to flat (downhill). Bus was around 3-4 blocks away. Flat was very spacious. One room with king/large queen bed and second room with twin bunks. Other beds were folding cots with cot style mattresses. Living room and bedrooms were nice and felt clean. Bathroom was in rough shape with obvious signs of water damage and mold on ceiling and walls and many open gaps between wall and tile/tub and overall felt dirty. Kitchen also with some water damage on ceiling and hole in wall for plumbing for water heater and found countertops and floor sticky upon arrival. Backyard/patio area unusable as it is very overgrown with weeds

Disappointing stay and not for 5/6 as advertised

Disappointing stay and first time I have had to write a negative review and I stay in apartments a lot. The apartment is supposed to be for 5/6 people and there was supposed to be a sofa bed and there wasn’t one so on arrival realised quite quickly that we would not be able to sleep 5 adults. Rang hosts airsorted several times and this took ages to sort and was told there was a enough room for 5 to sleep on numerous ocassions. We were then given fold out beds for the living room which just collapsed. The sofa bed would have been fine and we were prepared to sleep on this but in the end my son and his girlfriend ended up sleeping on the sofa cushions and top single bed mattress on the floor. I had researched apartments for months before my visit and had asked the hosts if this would sleep 5 adults before booking and was told it would. If you are travelling as a couple and 2 children this will be ok but not for 5/6 as advertised. Apartment bathroom could do with updating and there needs to be be some maintenance as the front windows and back door wouldn’t open so I couldn’t let any fresh air in and it was a little musty. Location was ok just off the new town and there was enough living space. Just spent most of my stay with issues so wasn’t an enjoyable few days away.

En helt fantastisk lägenhet i det lugnare område, lite backigt kanske om man har svårt för att gå upp till the royal mil och slottet, men gör som vi ta taxi upp och gå ner. Mataffären låg på promenadavstånd och det fanns pubar och matställen runt hörnet.
