We got what we paid for, this is a budget hotel after all. Perfect for a quick overnight in St Omer when we arrived at 8pm and departed at 8am.
Breakfast was a reasonable price too, unlike a lot of hotels.

Really perfectly located for the tunnel! Didn’t bother with breakfast as had read other reviews that said it wasn’t worth it! Free water fountain in reception that was good. The room we were given was a disabled friendly room which was fine however the floor was so slippery that he slipped and fell scraping and bruising his arm! I too also almost fell as it was so slippery, so would recommend anti slip mats!!!

We stayed for 1 night. Enroute south. The hotel was perfectly adequate for an overnight stay. It was clean and beds were comfy, we asked for and got an extra pillow each. I big flaw was that the air conditioning only worked on hot not cold. This needs seeing to as it was quite warm overnight we stayed in room 122. Breakfast was continental with bread, cereal, fruit, croissants ham and cheese juice and coffee plenty for the day. The receptionist was miserable and it would have been nice to be welcomed. Overall I would stay again

The Hotel staff was lovely, all speak and help on English.
However the cleaning in the hotel specially in the bedrooms is not that great. I did find spiders, cobwebs in the wall corners in the top of the bunk bed. The bunk bed still had hair of other people and a lot of dust 😐. The shower was not to great as the water leak to the bedroom while we take a shower, the bedroom very small compared with other Ibis budget hotels that I have been through the years.

Basic facilities, which we knew when booking. Initially expected to arrive late from the tunnel and be off in morning, but ended up getting a much earlier train. St Omer deserves time and a walk around - lovely park and some good bars and bistros so glad we got to see that. Hotel well positioned for getting back onto the autoroute and for walking into town.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. This is a budget place to stay, but was great for the price. Breakfast seemed better than in other similar Ibis hotels. We may well stay here again as a stopping point after the tunnel when driving to our place in France.

No electric car chargers at the hotel yet, but otherwise it is a good and convenient stop off point either way when using the channel tunnel

It was so easy to get to with everything you need close by! What we liked the most is the encouragement to exercise by doing different things like not taking the lift and walking the stairs, everything was in English, never seen anything like it before! Very nice hotel, easy to check in and no fuss!

Very kind staff, welcoming and efficient. Hotel is overpriced for getting a room by main road, hearing all noisy traffic from locals with stupidly loud exhausts on their mopeds

The staff were friendly, helpful and just lovely whilst the place itself was ok in a grim area with nothing to do or see. The room itself was horrible which was on the ground floor adapted for disabled people so with a bigger than average size bathroom: very poor lighting so dark with lights on, musty smell which denotes dampness and window not being open most of the time to air the room, sense of not wanting to be there. Next door to the room was a public toilet which was used during the night so got very little sleep due to the banging of the door to the public toilet. Overall, an ok experience due to the friendliness of the staff but not a nice hotel room.
