Liberty Kuşa
The hotel is huge and looks lovely from the outside. However, the carpets outside the rooms are quite dated, and the wooden flooring inside the rooms creaks badly. There was constant noise until the early hours of the morning, and we were then woken up by a loud crackling sound from the extractor fan. The bathroom also had an awful smell first thing in the morning, which was very unpleasant.
The buffet was quite limited, especially for vegetarians, with very few options available. It was extremely crowded, and there was a lot of cross-contamination from the meat dishes. For a five-star hotel, the little touches that make a stay feel special seemed lost in catering for the masses. Sadly, it didn’t live up to the five-star expectations.
