Room was ok, big TV, good and huge bed, pool small, but ok, nice balcony and nice view from the restaurant on the ocean. Good chill area in front of the Beach. Overall the Hotel is much too expensive for what is offered and for the service. The light on the balcony was not possible to shut out (automatically shuts out at 11pm) and no good curtains. Therefore the room is very bright especially when staying with small kids. The service at the breakfast was not good. Breakfast overall is ok, but nothing special. Just next to the hotel is a very noisy new construction work that is really disturbing especially at breakfast or relaxing. Location is a bit off, but ok.

We needed a gateway and chose Holbox that was highly recommended by Mexican friends, The property was nice overall but here are the reasons why they did not get a 5*: - The flow from the shower head was irregular and scarce. - The smell from the decomposed seaweed on the shore reached our room and was very unpleasant. - Because of that decomposed seaweed, we could not enjoy the sea. - The amount of mosquitoes prevented us from enjoying walks in the morning and after sunset. - We had lunch at the pool and were immediately surrounded by iguanas getting dangerously close to us. The staff knew but did little to scare them away.

We had such a lovely stay!! The hotel was very well kept and super clean. We were at the beach area every day and there was so much space and nothing shadowing the sun. The pool was amazing as well. The best thing however, was the staff. Super welcoming and so attentive! Everybody we encountered was so helpful! In our opinion it was the perfect location. It’s only a 10 minute walk on the beach to restaurants/shops, yet it’s completely quiet at night. The only tiny thing was a weak water pressure in the shower and the WiFi was not super consistent…..but we were just more offline and that’s the whole point of vacation. Huge recommendation from us!

We took a 5 day vacation to isla Holbox and stayed here. It was beautiful. The staff was very very nice and helpful with all of our requests if we had any. They gave us advice on where to eat, things to do and how to get there. The hotel itself was super clean and well kept. Our private pool was awesome. The only negative thing I would say is that we didn’t have hot water. It was warm/cold. But we had to take into account for being on an island and all the other people trying to shower and use hot water as well. Overall we will definitely be staying here again the next time we visit.
