This is a delightful smaller chateau with spacious rooms filled with light from the tall windows. We stayed in the accessible room on the ground floor. It was thoughtfully laid out and very comfortable. The lights were bright enough for reading at night, the wifi was excellent, and there were many places to recharge devices. Water/coffee/tea was available in the room.
The breakfast spread was vast including fresh bread/croissants, hams, cheeses, fresh fruits, yogurt, cereal, and pastries. The host/chef brought out crepes each morning, and also offered to prepare eggs/bacon as one wished. On the table were multiple choices of jams, spreads, etc. and all the jams were homemade from fruits on the property.
The property has a lovely lawn with chairs to enjoy the sun. It is worth taking a short walk to the old tower at the corner of the lawn, and also down to the orchard. But if you do it early in the morning, as I did, you may come back with very wet shoes from the dew!
