Hotel was lovely. Staff very friendly. Used the public bath which was incredibly relaxing. Breakfast was a good combination of Asian and western so something for everyone. Annoying we had to pay extra for the children for breakfast despite clearly booking the room for four. Don't quite understand why adults got it free but not children. Good location, near the shops.

Nice hotel. Stayed there for 12 nights. Not in the tourist center, but close by and with around 20 bus lines in the area, it's easy to get around. Nice onsen. Fitness room for 550 yen. Abundant breakfast with Japanese, western and Chinese style. You pre-booked a time slot for your breakfast so you avoid lines. Possibility for both lunch and dinner here. Many groups stay here, but it all runs smooth. Possible to follow the onsen and laundry machines on the TV.

The breakfast was disappointing and the lobby often smelled of smoke which wasn’t very pleasant while eating a meal. Also expected the gym to be included. In all, it was a nice hotel. Clean with nice little gym and large communal bath. The rooms had their own showers, so if you were not comfortable with the bath, no worries. It's proximity to metro, shrines and temple's, and shopping was perfect and the staff were friendly always greeting you with a smile. The only issue I had was the pillows. They have these strips of loose beads inside and were not comfortable at all. I asked the front desk if they had any different pillows, but said no and offered me another pillow. It did not help one bit. I ended up using the blanket as a pillow before getting any real sleep.
