Fabulous Hotel with wonderful views

Lovely modern hotel with fabulous views over Loch Lomond. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. We ate in the restaurant on Sunday evening and was offered the option of Sunday Roast Dinner. Would have loved a vegetarian roast option.

Duck Bay Hotel August ‘25

Amazing venue situated on the shores of Loch Lomomd with a great restaurant to the side. This was a one night stop over travelling down from Isle of Skye to Edinburgh Tattoo, parking is free but had to park in the restaurant car park as only room for about 3/4 cars outside the main reception. Our room had its own screened off patio area overlooking the Loch. Used the restaurant for our evening meal as convenient and quicker after walking all afternoon. The portions are generous and moderately priced with attentive staff on hand to make your experience the best. We had breakfast included and is also varied and caters to all tastes.

A must stay in Loch Lomand

What a hidden gem at the bottom of Loch Lomand. There is a park, an amazing restaurant, and the grounds and hotel are amazing with kind staff. We had a room with a slider out to a view of the loch. The room was clean and quiet. We loved it!

Only a basic double room available as we were late making our booking but we were very pleasantly surprised with our ground floor bedroom. We even had an outside seating area! Had dinner on the evening of arrival in the hotel restaurant. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. Would definitely go back again.

Fabulous hotel. Recently renovated. Restaurant was superb. The views were fantastic. Not a complaint but a suggestion. It would be helpful to have a vending machine with bottled water. You have to go to the bar and purchase a bottle of mineral water at over £6 per bottle. Apart from that absolutely brilliant.

Nous avons passé un très bon moment dans cet établissement idéalement situé au bord du lac. Le cadre est magnifique, les chambres confortables et la vue est vraiment apaisante. Un vrai plaisir de se réveiller dans un tel environnement ! En revanche, nous avons été déçus par le restaurant : les plats manquaient de saveur et la qualité n’était pas à la hauteur du lieu. Dommage, car cela contraste avec l’expérience hôtelière. Malgré cela, nous reviendrons avec plaisir, ne serait-ce que pour profiter du calme et de la beauté du lac !
