Disappointed
If your planning on renting this property, I highly advise that you call and confirm check in instructions with Michelle regardless how many times the email is sent. I received two emails period to our stay, we arrived at the property after a 4 hour drive to Lake Tahoe only to be told by Michelle that I need to hush up and listen to her instructions. No where in the email did it state there was a lockbox on the front door the only code in the email was for the jacuzzi which was wide open when we arrived. The next morning we attempted to throw the trash we couldn’t find the key to the dumpster I looked through my email I looked the house rule book and no explanation on how or where the key was. I was hesitant but I had to call Michelle back but this time she didn’t answer AT ALL so we had to have the trash in the house bagged all day while at the lake. The WiFi worked when it wanted. Dishwasher didn’t work at all. Lights in the kitchen were dim because the bulbs were out. If I had the choice of renting the property again I’d look for another place. My family and I travel a lot and this is the first time I experienced something like Michelle. I was very surprised Tahoe is such a popular vacation spot and with amount of money we spent on the house I expected to be treated with a little bit more respect. The surrounding lakes and activities in the area is amazing dispute having to stay at the property...
