The staff were really helpful during both my check-in and check-out, especially as my times were a bit unusual. I really appreciated their assistance.
However, when we visited H Luxury Residence Apartments seven years ago, we got a very similar room — right down to the same couches, which still had the same covers. Unfortunately, the couches were extremely dirty, the carpet had dirt and strange stains all over, and even the mirror near the entrance hadn’t been cleaned. The toilets and bathrooms were covered in black mould, which is definitely not ideal when you’re planning to use the shower. One of the shower doors wouldn’t even close properly, so whoever used it ended up freezing.
We also had a bit of trouble with the stove — it worked one day, didn’t work the next, and then started working again. This might have been user error, but it was still frustrating.
The main reason I didn’t contact staff about these issues straight away is that we were only using the room to sleep in and didn’t spend any more time there than necessary. The parking was excellent, but the rooms are in serious need of attention — the couch covers, carpets, bathrooms, and toilets need a deep clean, and worn-out fixtures should be replaced.
The little communication I had with staff was fantastic, but unfortunately the condition of the room was disappointing. We booked the hotel mainly for its location, and if we stay again, it will be for the location only — not for the rooms, which were absolutely
