The hotel was absolutely charming and convenient. Our room was clean and comfortable. I particularly enjoyed the very large tub. Elaine was especially nice and helpful. When we arrived, she carried our heavy bags to the first floor reception area and held on to them while our room was being readied and then left them in the room for us on our return from exploring Nice. The day we were leaving, she kept them for us while we took a train to Mentón and Monte Carlo. We loved our stay and wished we could have stayed longer. We highly recommend Arome and would absolutely stay there again.

Enjoyed my stay

Cosy hotel located only a short walk from the beach. Friendly staff, who were willing to help, all though not all of them talked English. The rom was nice, and it was cleaned every day, which I loved. However, the rom was thin-walled and could be quite noisy. Note that there is no elivator, so we had to carry our luggage up to the room.

The isolation wasnt good we could hear people and cleaning from 9am and woke us up but not the hotel fault. And the owner is a great person and very helpful. Free croissant every morning which we found cute and nice. The hotel was close to the beach too. Overall good experience thanks :)

Amazing hotel, and good location!

The service was so great! They even checked in with me before to help me navigating to the hotel from the train station. Then they were so kind, helping with the luggage and directions. The room was great, had everything I needed: coffee, tea, water. And even a croissant in the morning!

Arôme hotel was the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at! Fabio was excellent and had great recommendations for restaurants and things to see and do. Our room was ready before our check-in time and was communicated to us by email which is very convenient! The service was excellent, croissants and coffee in the morning was a plus! Loved the location, two blocks from the beach and two blocks from the Tram line! Felt very safe and the cleaners always cleaned our room in the mornings! Would recommend this boutique hotel to anyone visiting Nice!!! 5 stars!!!!

Don’t believe the good ratings!!!!

It was dingy and cramped with peeling paint and mold in the shower. The bathrooms smell like a sewer and are barely separated from the bedroom. But this was only the tip of the iceberg. Every day when we left our room, we’d lock the door. And every evening we’d come back to find it fully unlocked. We asked an employee about this and he said only “It’s the cleaning lady.” We had to SPECIFY that we wanted her to lock the door. We returned next day to find the door fully unlocked again. Finally, on our first evening around 11PM my friend and I were talking in our room, and a woman knocked on the door and asked if we could keep it down. We apologized profusely and were silent from then on. The walls are super thin. There was no music on, no TV, just us having a conversation. The next day when we were coming back to our room the hotel manager (?) stopped us and said there had been a problem. He said we had been loud. We immediately apologized profusely again. The bizarre thing is that he proceeded to berate us for a good five to ten minutes. He said she had recorded us (HUH?!) and after 10PM you have to be very quiet (no one had said this). He said we were at risk of being kicked out and acted like we had committed a crime. I’ve never felt more unwelcome anywhere. I’m a quiet person, I try very hard not to bother others, and we stopped as soon as we knew. We were terrified the entire rest of our stay, tiptoeing, barely whispering, scared to brush our teeth. Horrible.

Great staff and hotel!

Our stay at this hotel was really great. The room was clean and fresh, and the bathroom was also really clean and nice. You got the feeling that the room was renovated recently. And the staff: Fabio helped us with everything and so did Barbara. We got some really nice tips for restaurants and some must-do in Nice. Every single recommendation from Fabio was great, especially his recommendations for restaurants. We’ve never had any better service in any hotel we’ve visit so far, we really loved our stay here!

Arome hotel was an excellent choice for my wife and I. We stayed 2 nights in Nice. The location is perfect. Only 2 blocks from the tram which brings you to the airport. And about the same distance to the heart of the Promenade. The shopping and restaurant areas were only a short 10 minute walk from the hotel at most. One of the highlights of our trip was the excellent service by Fabio. He appeared to be the owner. If not, the owner needs to know that he is wonderful. He offered many helpful suggestions and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
