One of our favorite stays ever. Excellent location with the most beautiful views in the city. The view right out our hotel room Mogador was stunning. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The restaurant was great and there is a live gnawa band every night that was very fun, (it ends at 9:30) really can’t say enough about the quality of this hotel. I hope we can come back some day

Villa Quieta in Essaouira was definitely one of the most beautiful hotels I've ever stayed. When you enter you are greeted with Moroccan beauty from all angles. The staff was also top notch, going above and beyond for our satisfaction. We didn't even arrive there until about 4 am, and there was someone up waiting for us so that we could get right in and get to bed upon arrival. I had a wonderful one-week stay at Dar Amastan during the Gnaoua Festival and would happily stay here again. This riad had only been open about a month when I visited, but the hospitality was exceptional.
The location is excellent—an easy walk to the medina, beach, restaurants, and festival venues while still being peaceful. The rooftop breakfasts were a highlight, with fresh orange juice, traditional Moroccan breads and pancakes, eggs, honey, amlou, olives, and other local specialties.

The breakfast was fresh and delicious overlooking the ocean on the 4th floor. The hotel is really clean and less than 1 year old. The room was spacious and felt more like an apartment. Only downside is it's about a 1.5 mile walk to the medina/souq but it's only a few minute walk to the beach. It's such a beautiful and relaxing place. I would stay here again when i come back to Essaouira.
