"This was a very nice hotel. Others have said it needed updates, but honestly, it’s probably people who expect other countries out of this one. This is a great hotel if you want to be with the locals instead of the Tourist areas. Bring chargers with USB because USB ports and outlets are more prevalent. "The Oceanfront Villa in Amatecampo Beach was phenomenal. The host was extremely attentive from start to finish. The beach is less than a 5 minute walk. We really enjoyed utilizng the BBQ and private pool on our property. Our villa was very clean. The villa is near town if you wanted local food or souvenirs, but definitely stock up on groceries prior. We will definitely return. "
