"The Hotel Barberini is in a great section of Rome -- if not jammed up in the oldest, best known areas with Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, etc. It is directly across from the entrance gate to the Barberini Palace with a beautifully curated section of works -- with truly useful observations provided on nicely placed info plaques. You are close to Via Veneto - which was a highlight of "La Dolce Vita," and reserves charm from that era. The staff are cheerful and helpful. The breakfast is the best I have had - with first rate, rpt, first rate service and a breakfast room overlooking astonishing view."

"Very much enjoyed our stay at the Imperium! It had the old world charm on the outside, as well as a modern, updated reception area and room on the inside. Lucia and her staff were very friendly and informative and the cleaning staff kept the rooms nice and clean! We also liked that it is in walking distance to the Trevi Fountain, Pantheon and Spanish steps and the Metro. We would stay there again should be visit Rome in the future."

"This hotel may not meet your expectations if you're looking for a traditional front desk experience and a shower that functions properly. Although its location is excellent, with Trevi right behind it, you may want to consider other options in the area that offer better value for the price. I will not be staying here again for sure. "
