I traveled with my family to the Cumaceba lodge. We stayed for three nights and four days. We had an amazing Amazon experience! Our guide Dixon was fabulous! He made our stay even better by his experience and knowledge of the area, animals, and flora. The 2 to 3 excursions per day kept us busy and always wanting to find more wonders of the rainforest. I would truly recommend this lodge if you are wanting a hands-on experience of the Amazon.

I really enjoyed my stay. Everyone was nice and helpful. Air conditioning was great to have, and the breakfasts were delicious. The area around it can be noisy at night, so I was glad I brought earplugs. Obviously the hotel cannot control that, but something to consider.

Nice hotel in a good location. All of The staff was friendly, welcoming and very professional. The music around the pool area was a little loud at night, but I do highly recommended the DoubleTree hotel when staying in Iquitos.

My family and I often stay at this hotel when we need a respite from the rigors of working in the Amazon jungle. It is always a pleasure and very comfortable

Nice spot

We arrived on an early flight, and got to the hotel at 6 AM. We were very tired. They gave us an early check-in in: no extra cost, and no questions asked! When you've been traveling intentionally for two days, this is a huge bonus.

The place was great, kind staff and the room was comfortable. The wifi and tv were great and the views were unmatched.

Very nice and friendly staff. Breakfast is good, fresh juice and coffee. Every room has A/C and clean.

Beautiful, clean room with AC and WiFi. Close to airport and shopping. I had my noise canceling hear buds that I slept very comfortably.

Espectacular

So it’s not right next to central Iquitos, but that doesn’t matter. Central is a quick moto taxi ride for very cheap, or a 15-20 minute walk. What matters to me is how nice this place was. Iquitos is a rowdy town. It’s lively with a lot of hustle and bustle. This property is not: it is serene. I loved it so much, I ended up staying an extra night.
