"The casino had roaches in the bathroom and side of bed. I recorded and went and showe front desks they said Expedia has to deal with it no accountability what so ever never again will I stay there. It’s very old smell molded tv need updates refrigerator did seem cold at all. Towels were disgusting huge stains. "

"Staff was great and grounds were so nice. Constant attention was present for all of the beautiful grounds. Staff was very courteous and friendly at hotel and restaurants. Food choices were great and abundant…..very reasonable pricing as well. We would recommend a stay here to our people, if ever in the area. Golf course was very nice, as well. "

"2 years ago….good experience! Most recent (April 4) WAS NOT! Had planned to stay 4 nights, checked out after one! Reservation was for a double room. Called twice to request late check in. Very helpful staff! Asked if I wanted 1st or 2nd floor. Because of age, arthritic knees, and no elevator, I requested 1st floor. Upon arrival and check in, I was informed that there were no double rooms available, so I would receive a free upgrade to a king “suite”. On the second floor. I told the desk clerk that I did not want the upgrade, rather honor my reservation. He informed me there were no other rooms available because there had been a fire two weeks prior! I had no choice at that time of evening! Here are the other issues: “the suite” consisted of a “living room” with a couch, easy chair, lamp, tv, dresser and overhead light fixture. The bathroom separated the room from the bedroom. The sink ,counter, and mirror on one side, toilet and jetted tub, with shower head, on the other. It was very deep, no rails or slip mat for bottom of tub. The light for this room worked on a timer, as did the fan! It safe for anyone! No soap, and 1washcloth! Had to call for hand soap. The bedroom was adequate, except the noise from the ventilation unit! Twice it startled me awake. Finally, the floors WERE FILTHY. Black bare feet evidenced . Washed my feet,and used damp towel as a mat. Also, the laminate floor is buckling. Checked out after one miserable night!!"

"So with this place bring so old and iconic, we really had no idea what to expect! Thinking it could go either way, really good or not so great! This place was wonderful! The grounds are very well maintained The room was older but very well maintained, clean, beds were comfy a/c worked wonderfully! Although we did not get a chance to eat there, it gives us an excuse to return and give it a try!! We def will be back!!"

"This was a gem of a find, clean rooms, friendly and engaging staff, parking right outside our room, everything worked as it should. Very reasonably priced. We booked a one-night stay before doing a tour at U of A and were delighted with our experience here. Will be back for sure and would highly recommend it. "

"The view is beautiful and the staff was excellent. I did take issue with the cost of parking….why are you charging guests of the hotel if they park themselves? It’s not that you are short of space, such as being downtown! My morning coffee. Large brewed coffee, nothing fancy was $6 +tax+Tip= $8.00 for a reg coffee. By 10:30am all pool chairs were taken. The cost of Easter Brunch was130.00 p/person add in a couple of drinks and tip and my bill was $504.00 USD for 3people. All the nickel and dime stuff was a bit ridiculous. "
