I would clarify that the breakfast was only on the first day and only a bag of cookies and a smashed muffin. And while it is close to some areas of interest, i would make sure to get a few bus tickets if you want to venture further than the Norman palace or Palermo Cathedral. "

They arranged for breakfast to be left out too even at 4am , something not many places would do. I arrived by train which is about 10 mins walk away. Good variety of food available too for breakfast.
