"We went to Augusta because of the James Brown connection. Unsure what to expect. The town is definitely on the up. A little rough around the edges, but safe and walkable in downtown, even at night. Hotel is within walking distance of the museum, riverwalk, bars and restaurants. The property is clean, comfortable and well appointed. Would stay again."

"I can’t say enough about the Augusta Marriott. My room was extremely comfortable, the staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful especially when I had to extend my stay for a day because my flight got cancelled. The bellman even made a special early to drive me to the airport in the shuttle. The location was also great - right on the Riverwalk. I was a very happy guest!!"

"The girl that checked me in was awesome! I didnt catch her name but she worked hard making sure housekeeping was done with my room. I was early. The hotel could use some TLC but it was clean and for the price on Masters week I cant complain. I do wish the bar had been open but thats OK mi pueblo across the street took care of that for me."
