"The property was as pictured on the Expedia website. The staff was great from the front desk, housekeeping, and bar/restaurant. The room was clean. Perfect for me, my husband, and our toy poodle. Lots of restaurants in walking distance. Plus the hotel its self had a nice restaurant and bar with live music at night. I liked that we could bring our dog to stay for free. Great spur of the moment last minute day of booking. We will most definitely be back."

"This is a great Hotel just across the road from Pensacola beach, it offers free bikes, kayaks & paddleboard on a first come first serve basis. We took the bikes out early one morning & cycled along the coast road to the national park. Unfortunately we were not able to use the paddle boards as they finished at 5pm & then next morning was too windy. The rooms are large & clean & comfortable with a surf theme. Our bathroom door needed replacing as the bottom was cracked & coming away. Shaggy’s & Flounders are great to eat at if you like seafood & Bears Bowls does the best Açai bowls on the beachfront."

"First, being charged to park in the hotel’s lot is extremely frustrating. I’ve stayed at many hotels and have never had to pay for parking, so this policy was surprising and disappointing. When I asked the attendant about it, her response was abrupt and dismissive. She simply said it was “policy,” and when I expressed that I found it unreasonable, she replied, “Sir, you don’t have to stay here.” That kind of response is unprofessional and unhelpful, especially when addressing a paying guest. I even asked whether she would help arrange another hotel, but received no support. To make matters worse, I still have not received my deposit back. I was told it would be returned after the room inspection, which felt unnecessary and insinuating, as if I couldn’t be trusted to leave the room in good condition. Overall, this was a very negative experience driven largely by poor customer service. The interaction left me feeling disrespected, and it has ensured that I will not return. Ben West."

"The hotel was run down our room the carpet had several patches in it and it didn’t match! When I got in the shower there was soap paper left from the previous people. I was wondering about the sheets! I’m not sure they were changed! I got my stuff out of the car and used it. The breakfast was good and the staff was friendly. But the hotel needs updating!!"
