"Loved the paddle boats, pool, hot tub. Just wish they had fishing poles that we could use."

"Staff is very accommodating. Their policy is the rooms are cleaned every other day. I didn’t have a problem with that but when my room should have been cleaned it wasn’t and I had to ask for it to be cleaned. "

"Everyone was great. The only thing I noticed was the tub needed work. The caulk was covering up black and the bottom of the tub was discolored at the no skid strips. Also looked like the same thing as the caulk."

"Our room was comfortable and spotlessly clean as were the lobby and breakfast areas; many options available at the well stocked and tended breakfast. All staff we encountered were kind, friendly and helpful. Although we weren't able to have an oceanfront room ours was very easy access to the wonderful walkway up to the gazebo and dunes. Everything was kept up very nicely. We enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub. This was the most pleasant stay we've had at the OBX in a long time, we will definitely stay again at the Shutters!"

"The key did not open the room. We had to go back downstairs for them to activate it. The room was clean but the shower was slow draining. We also heard through the walls of the adjoining room. We did like the privacy and view of the water from the balcony. "
