"Room was worn beyond normal wear and tear. Bed frames were ripped, walls were scuffed and dirty with splatters. Curtians didnt even match. Furniture drawers were broken. Beds squeaked everytime you turned over. It felt like the quality of a cheap motel but charges way more. Shower heads were grossly dirty. Microwave had nasty food gunked on the top. When asked for them to clean shower heads and microwave, they never did. We could not wait to get out of the room and avoided it as much as possible. Coffee was not served at 8am like they said. Staff was consistently not at front. While we were waiting, others eventually walked away as well because they were tired of waiting to talk with staff at front. No one showed for over 15 min. ONLY good thing was location and view. You can walk to boardwalk, pier, coffee shops, restaurants, etc. The pictures and outside are deceiving. Not sure about others rooms but avoid room #207. "

"This property is beautiful and well thought out with meticulous interior design. If luxury is your taste, this place will tickle your fancy. The food and drinks are absolutely delicious and the service cannot be beat. Don’t bother going to Santa Cruz if you’re not booked at La Bahia! "

"Amazing location, super friendly staff, great for kids!! You can rent out chairs and umbrellas for the beach and can use their towels to take down to the beach as well! The poolside bar is awesome! Only complaint would be you get charged a service fee and tax on EVERYTHING! We called the front desk for towels and again for more TP and got charged $5.80 each time. Overall, you can’t beat the location! It’s perfect!!! "

"Breakfast was good! Pool and Jacuzzi was clean and working great. Staff was nice. Room was clean and loved the rooms. System was down but Brandon made sure we will be taken care of as soon as it was back up. Busy street but Great location. Walking distance to the beach and the stores. "
