"The employees are great but the front desk staff was arrogant and rude. Every 2nd umbrella was broken and the adjustable gazebo was missing the top. The pool filter around the side was extremely dirty. Pools were boring and square no design to them. On the other hand the food was decent and always had a lot of options. It was nice to have 2 swim up bars. The rooms were clean and renovated. The resort can be loud at night in the halls when your trying to go to sleep. Bring a sweater because it can get windy at night. It was playoff hockey and they could not get the Canadian game on at the sports bar. One of the guest tried streaming it from their phones but the staff go mad for people trying to stream it. I've been at other resorts and had no problem getting the hockey game. We are trying a different resort."

"My only 2 issues were the fact that the villas don't have elevators(only one apparently). Having to walk up and down 63 stairs multiple times a day was very hard on the old knees(plus we had 3 seniors with us which was wven harder on them). And the second was the wifi. It was TERRIBLE. If you are traveling with a group it is difficult. It kept kicking us off the network every hour so we couldn't find our group a lot of times. It was incredibly frustrating. Other than that, property was beautiful, food was great, drinks were great and the weather could not have been better. "

"Overall our stay at the Krystal Grand was wonderful! PROS: --Altitude room and view were beautiful, bed was comfortable, water and beverages were restocked regularly. Cleaning staff was perfect! --Our butler Joel was AMAZING! So helpful and responsive. Thank you Joel! --Kamp Krystal kids club! Tania was WONDERFUL! My daughter loved her and begged to go to kids club. Thank you Tania! --Miguel the photographer on site! We had an impromptu shoot and it was amazing! Thank you Miguel! --The pools were wonderful, a little cold for me, but nice and clean --Drinks were wonderful and we never had to wait long for one --Breakfast at The Grill (altitude Only). Food and service were phenominal (our morning waiter was the best!) --Pool chairs. Lots of complaints about this but we found it just fine if you got out there by 8 am or so and grabbed some chairs. No biggie and nothing you don't see at other resorts. CONS: --Pullout couch in the room was awful. Even my six year old couldn't sleep with the metal bar in her back --Rooftop bar (Altitude Only) was just a bar with no sun protection and a two foot deep "pool" --Food just wasn't great. I wouldn't recommend the buffett for any meals, it was rough. Italian was very mediocre. I would have loved to try the Japanese and Mexican places but they did not offer a kids menu and wouldn't bring a kids meal from another part of the resort. For a family place, that is just bizarre. We were forced to eat all meals at The Grill."

"Good location. Walkable to local dining and shops. Nice room, however, we got eaten alive by bugs-assuming mosquitoes. Very expensive for alcoholic beverages and food. Nice pools, beautiful resort, but not all inclusive. Pro tip-stop at Walmart first, but your beer, wine, and spirits. Hotel charges $30 for a glass of wine and/or mixed drinks. "

"The property was amazing, with breathtaking views. Unfortunately, swimming at the beach wasn’t possible, which was a bit disappointing. The food could definitely be improved—some restaurants didn’t meet expectations, and there were limited options available during lunch. On a positive note, our cleaner, Veronica, was outstanding—very reliable, attentive, and always made sure our needs were met. Some staff members seemed a bit unfriendly, possibly due to being tired, but overall the experience was still enjoyable. Overall, it was a great place to visit, and we would consider coming back."
