"This is a new hotel. Everything in the hotel was nice and well appointed. The staff on the other hand was not well managed and very much lacking in the service department. Some tried hard but didn’t seem to have any answers or couldn’t help. The wait staff was average at best. The hotel is beautiful but I don’t think I would consider this a 5 star hotel."

A lot of konibinis and restaurants close by, but beware this is a drinking street so you might meet a lot of drunk locals and tourists at night. The breakfast was nice and I appreciated the complimentary small donuts and free beverages. My room was a little bit older than expected, but enough space to repack your things. Big bed and four soft pillows."

"We had the Akasaka Suite and it was very large. The staff was always available at the front desk ready to help with anything we needed. The staff were extremely polite and eager to help with anything. "

"Great location with lots of restaurants/cafe and shopping before having to head out to the major tourist destinations. Akasaka station is quite literally next door. The friendly and helpful staff were the icing on the cake! "

"I greatly appreciate the staff's help with my special requests, including sending luggage via Yamato transport . The local area doesn't have that much to offer tourists itself, but is a good central point to explore Tokyo. This hotel is also helpfully located directly opposite an entrance to the metro (no elevator though)."

"We loved our stay at Akasaka Granbell. Staff was very friendly, our room was spacious, clean and well equipped. Nice area as well, with convienience stores all around and great dining options. Metro station in super short walking distance, easily reaches the places you want to visit in Tokyo. airport transfer bus also stops within 5 min walking distance to the hotel. would come again, absolutely great staying option."

"Room was small but ok. Loved the bath facilities, perfect with a hot soak after a long day of walking. Not big but plenty of room and a few showers. Breakfast ok, the view was really nice! Good location, would stay again!"

"Perfect place to stay in Akasaka. Hotel was absolutely lovely, one of my favourites in my entire Japan trip. I only stayed for a night but easily could’ve stayed for a week, the bathrooms were clean and the lobby nice. It was a good environment and situated in an amazing area close to shops, food and the station. 100% would recommend and will definitely stay here on my next Tokyo visit."
