"The room was a bit smaller than expected and the noise was considerable (squeaky floors, loud AC, & plumbing sounds). The staff was very business-like it did not show any emotion focused on your stay and making it a positive experience. The biggest plus was Compere Lapin - which was truly fantastic!"

"Clean and nice, and the staff was as helpful as they could be. Unfortunately, beeping from an alarm in the room kept me awake all night. No maintenance crew could arrive until morning to fix it, so I spent a sleepless night there. Things happen - I understand that - but I expected an appropriate refund and instead received $20, which I had to argue for. I see that as terrible customer service. I paid for a good night’s sleep, they didn’t deliver, and kept my hard-earned money anyway. Totally unacceptable. I won’t be staying there again, which is unfortunate because it’s a nice place in a great location. But you can’t treat people that way."

"Clean room, nice staff, breakfast in the restaurant was really delicious. Room was not equipped with enough towels for 2 adults but staff assisted right away. Very busy location for one elevator with several floors which made it hard for going back and forth to room. Very nice and convenient location. "

"I stayed here for one night before a cruise and had a great stay. The hotel is really nice and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The only thing that bothered us was a baby crying all morning in the room next door. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We were able to easily walk to the cruise port and a short distance to the French Quarter. I highly recommend this hotel!"

"I have stayed at many Le Meridian properties and I have never had such a disgusting experience. Starting with the smell of the room. I requested our room to be serviced three days in a row. I called down at three in the morning, four in the morning, five in the morning, two in the afternoon, five in the afternoon at 11 in the morning so many times half of the time no one would answer the phone. I had to walk downstairs to communicate with someone there was no one at the front desk. I had to yell out to the back where I found employees sleeping. The manager karma was extremely rude and argued with me about my experience. The servers at the bar and the restaurants are completely incompetent and very slow. The valet was asleep when we arrived twice. The bathroom in the lobby is like a gas station. We were not able to even get clean towels and new soap for two days. Our phone in the room was making a very strange awkward beeping and we called down and we were told that engineering would come up to fix it. No one came so in order to sleep we had to unplugged the phone. Not only is it a disaster as far as hospitality but as far as a safety issue, there are many things to be concerned with at this property."
