Hotels in South Beach

"I found it funny that this Bayside is called Bayside Suites when some of the other bayside Hotels are much nicer inside. They must work on this. My room has a hole in the ceiling. They must fix. "

"Our welcome was very cold, The lady at the reception was busy organizing a box and did not even acknowledge our presence for a min or two. and then a security staff said "wait". And after a few min someone just gave us the room keys. Room was very clean but they did not keep any towels and we had to ask for it. USB and other charging points were very close to the bed which was great. The hotel location in general doesnt seem to be safe. Its worth the price though. "

"Charming antiquity in all the right places. Comfortable crowd / staff around the breakfast area. Nice walkout to end of dock, around sunset watching the waves and surfers. From A nice little old ('white') couple just passing through."

"The lodge is well located in the Hillcrest area, close to the Main Road with it's shops and restaurants. Bev the hostess was very welcoming and seemed prepared to go out of her way to assist her guests. The breakfast in the morning was varied and good. The room, while on the small side, was adequately furnished with a comfortable bed. There were a number of small items which detracted from my stay. "In a lovely safe area. Beautiful guest house with the most fantastic view. Lovely staff, great breakfast. Easy access to main roads shops and restaurants. Our room was clean and spacious. Will be back next time we visit South Africa. "

"The hosts are charming and very helpful. We felt most welcome. The stay was very comfortable, and the breakfast superb. There was evidence by way of ash and ends caught in the rail of the sliding doors of the bedroom leading out to the pool, that someone had smoked in the room which was unfortunate."
