The only downside was the shower drain which was slow and could use some maintenance. Overall, a good budget-friendly hotel for families and friends."

"We love coming here to Drakes Hotel. The staff are so friendly and accommodating, the rooms are lovely (some even with spacious bathtubs too) and the breakfasts are always delicious (and can be served in room which is always a bonus for us since we’re not morning people haha) Great amenities nearby and easy to get a bus (the stops are right outside) or an uber etc. It’s a must for us whenever we’re in Brighton."

"The room, bathroom, and bedding were all very clean and well maintained. The overall cleanliness of the accommodation was excellent, and the staff were very friendly and helpful during check-in. The only downside was that the seagulls were quite noisy during the night, which made it a little difficult to sleep. However, this was not the accommodation’s fault. Overall, I had a pleasant stay and would recommend it."

"We really enjoyed our stay. We had such a warm welcome from lovely Kalim on reception and had the best pina colada at the bar. Best we've ever had. Lovely hotel, lovely staff , they couldn't do enough to help, We had a wonderful breakfast and really appreciated the help from the very friendly staff who came to our room and helped with extra bedding. Just a lovely place and a lovely stay :)"
