The Argonaut is in a great location to see many of San Francisco bay area attractions, all within walking distance. The hotel is clean, quiet and safe, with great hospitality service.

Super cute inn right in the heart of San Francisco. The staff was so kind and made our stay enjoyable. Wine and cheese from 5-7 was such a great bonus to the already awesome stay. I highly recommend booking here! I will be staying at the White Swann next time I visit the city❤️

Great staff, great property

We stayed with our preteen and little guy and it was wonderful. Area felt pretty safe. We had a bay view room and got to watch the lighthouse at Alcatraz at night. Real close to dining, Ghirardelli Square, Fisherman's Wharf and just a couple blocks from the Big Bus station. Breakfasts were good and definitely saved money not paying for that every day! They are strict about the breakfast cutoff.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean bed and pillows were comfortable. Great location within walking distance to fishermen warf and pier 69 and pier 33 for Alcatraz tour. Definitely would recommend this hotel

My stay was fantastic. The only negative thing I experienced was that they removed the US flag from its place of honor at the peak of their hotel in order to fly a pride flag in its place. As a veteran whos friends gave their lives for the US and whos coffins were draped with that flag, this was intolerable. There were plenty other places they could and did fly the pride flag. It should never fly in lieu of the Stars and Stripes.

Great area! Convenient on foot, public transportation or if you opt for the Big Bus. The lounge, starlite, upstairs is swanky, but if you are alone expect the bar, they will not allow you to utilize a sofa for sunset. Checkin was friendly, easy and quick. The skybar is awesome with amazing views especially at night! Walked to Union Square for shopping and dinner, only a few blocks away. Took elevator from the Parking garage to lobby. Everything was decorated beautifully for the holidays. Get a room with a balcony, it did not disappoint, the views of the water were spectacular!
