"First of all, ALL of Lima is loud and dirty so expect some kind of a reflection of that fact in any budget hotel in Lima. It is part of the experience. That given and compared to EVERY other hotel I identified in Lima on Expedia or on foot Hotel Maxys Grau was the best value for the cost. Lima is EXPENSIVE too, unlike Colombia that I have more acclimated to. Everything cost more here than in Colombia or Mexico, so expect to pay more for the same luxuries. "Older hotel but well maintained. Rooms well equipped and clean. Comfortable beds. Excellent free airport shuttle which takes 15mins and runs every 30 minutes. Make sure you go to the right Wyndham as there is another at the new airport."

"My stay at Sonesta was excellent! The location is great, the staff is very serviceable and kind. The breakfast was excellent and the housekeeping staff kept my room looking lovely. I stayed at this hotel for the Lima Marathon. Its located steps from the start / finish and the team even kept the breakfast very late so I had a chance to eat after the race. I highly recommend this location!"
