Hotel Rey Alfonso X

"This hotel was excellent in many ways. It was very central and very easy to access many of the sights of Seville. All were within walking distance in less than 15 mins. Breakfast was excellent and staff friendly. It has a wonderful roof top terrace and pool though the pool is small. My only complaint was we were on the third floor and right under the terrace and we heard every scrape of furniture on the floor above us when furniture was being moved around or the terrace cleaned and what also sounded like water being sprayed in a sink on a regular basis. This lasted until midnight every night and while it did not stop us from sleeping people might find it annoying."

"This hotel was above my expectations. I knew it would be hard to find amidst the many small alleys of the Old Town but was surprised to receive a warm welcome and very detailed and comprehensive directions from the hotel a few days prior to my arrival. The surprises continued as I discovered more beautiful spaces within each area of the building, and the entire experience was tied together by the Mozart/Musical theme which added to the charm and ambience. I loved the thick, soft bathsheets (rather than towels), along with all the personal hygiene products and, I appreciated having a kettle (not just a coffee maker) and the delicious chocolates left at the bediside, The staff were friendly and helpful and the location was very convenient for all the tourist sites in the centre of town, and lots of cafes and restaurants/ I will definitely return here on my next visit to Seville. Thank you!"

EME Catedral Mercer Hotel

"This was my second time staying at EME Catedral, and funny enough, I was assigned the exact same room as my previous stay, which made the experience feel oddly familiar in a nice way. The location remains unbeatable, and the hotel still has that stylish atmosphere that makes it such a great option in Seville. That said, there were a couple of details that could have made the stay feel a bit warmer and more personal. During one interaction, the front desk seemed a little hesitant when I asked for restaurant recommendations, which felt slightly unexpected from a hotel of this level and personality. Also, my birthday had been the day before my arrival, and I honestly thought the hotel might acknowledge it in some small way. Nothing over the top, but just a small gesture would have added a thoughtful touch to the experience. Overall, I still enjoyed my stay and would return again, especially because of the location, design, and overall vibe of the property."

"Beautiful & clean apartment only steps away from everything you will need to have an unforgettable Spain experience. The neighborhood is amazing.. everything we could have wanted and more! The only downside is the check in process. You have to check in at a separate location and although they tell you that’s it’s quick and easy to walk to your room that’s an understatement. I would recommend you take a taxi to your building, they charge an additional 10 euros to do so. In our case, we opted for the taxi only he dropped us at the wrong location. So our keys didn’t work and if I hadn’t taken a picture of the receptionist # on my phone we would have been stuck. Getting back to the receptionist location would have been a maze and nearly impossible to find. We had to google the correct location and walk 15 mins to the right spot with all of our luggage. Then we waited an extra 30 mins for a staff member to walk the new keys to us (they do not have any other way to travel around). By the time we got our belongings dropped off we were late for a flamenco show we had already purchased tickets for and had to rush to walk 20-25 mins to the show while following Google Maps. All in all our first impression was not a good one. The staff was kind and patient through all of our expressed frustrations and the following day advised they would be paying for our transfer to the airport at no charge at the end of our stay. We appreciated that! Aside from that debacle our trip was excellent!"

"We loved this hotel! The location couldn’t be better; a short walk to the Cathedral and the Real Alcazar , a short walk to the Plaza de España, in fact, every place we wanted to go to was walking distance. The staff (who are all super welcoming, and extremely friendly and helpful) recommended a fantastic flamenco show, and a great fine dining restaurant, as well as tapas restaurants. The breakfast was cooked to our taste, with homemade pastries, eggs, smoked salmon, and whatever we could ever think of. they had a teatime every day with a variety of teas and coffees, and many pastries and baked goods.. Our room was large, and very comfortable, with a small balcony overlooking a little fountain. We loved Sevilla, and staying in this lovely hotel added greatly to our visit!! ❤️❤️"
