"The hotel was clean. The location was central. The staff was very accommodating. The room met our needs. They have a lounge area where guests can make coffee, grab a fruit or a muffin, have some cereal and milk, or take a bottled drink on the go. It’s available from 7 am through most of the day. Things to consider: We were given a room on the first floor. The property is adjacent to a restaurant. We could hear all the clanging of dishes and people talking until the restaurant closed around 11 pm. The window shutters didn’t close in a snug manner so noise was more apparent. If we opened the windows, we were right above people as they ate. We could make out their conversations. This would be an issue for people who want to go to bed early or want to take advantage of the balcony. Suggestion for the property owners: Change the movable glass half-door on the tub. It serves no purpose as the water splashes onto the bathroom floor and results in a wet mess. We were there for 2 nights. We would stay again - just not on floor 1. "

"The hotel was small and intimate and felt very personalised. The music theme was lovely and I liked seeing all of the old instruments decorating the hotel. I also liked the roof terrace and enjoyed a short dip in the heated pool. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They were able to provide recommendations, and also arranged for us to have an early breakfast to eat in our room when we had an early morning excursion. "Great central hotel over looking small quiet square. Wonderful location. Beautiful old building with charming courtyard and tons of character. Breakfast was varied and plentiful. Staff were friendly and helpful. Sadly the hotel cancelled our last night booking, possibly due to over booking. Our families were separated over our Christmas reunion but Expedia came to the rescue and helped with our next accommodation. I was very impressed with their customer service. It all worked out well in the end. "
