"A Five-Star Stay in the Heart of Florence As a discerning traveler, I am selective about awarding five stars, and Globus Urban Hotel truly earned them. The location is exceptional: just a 2–5 minute walk to the Duomo, approximately 5–7 minutes to Firenze Santa Maria Novella railway station, and less than 10 minutes to Florence’s luxury shopping district. It is an ideal base for exploring the city on foot while remaining incredibly convenient for train travel and shopping. The service was outstanding. Special recognition goes to Leiah and John at the night front desk, whose professionalism, warmth, and attentiveness made every return to the hotel welcoming. Ivy and the entire breakfast-room crew also deserve recognition for their gracious, attentive service each morning. The hotel was exceptionally clean and well maintained, while my room was modern, spacious, and comfortable. The fast, complimentary Wi-Fi was reliable, and the bathroom delivered excellent water pressure and consistently hot water. Most impressive was the air conditioning, which performed exceptionally well during a brutal 100°F Florence heat wave. After hours of sightseeing in extreme heat, returning to a genuinely cool room was invaluable. Globus Urban Hotel delivers the combination discerning travelers appreciate most: prime location, exceptional hospitality, immaculate surroundings, contemporary comfort, and reliable amenities.
