"Very disappointing experience. Despite weeks of communication before arrival, we were given the wrong room—a smaller, lower-category unit instead of the Design Loft, City View we specifically booked for our family. Only after I pushed did reception admit the room had been double booked for weeks, yet we were never informed in advance. Instead of taking responsibility, we were told to contact Hotels.com ourselves, with no apology and no meaningful assistance—while traveling with two young children and no phone service. We spent hours trying to fix the issue, losing valuable vacation time and even missing a meal. This could have easily been communicated ahead of time. I would not recommend this property for their lack of problem-solving, accountability, and basic customer care. When traveling overseas with kids, you expect to feel supported and taken care of—not misled. Overall, a frustrating and disappointing start to what should have been a special trip. Lastly, there is no refund because the hotel is not releasing approvals for Hotels.com to refund me for the difference of the rooms. There’s no accountability and literally refusing to refund back for their system error and making money off of so-called a mistake but now I’m wondering this might have been intentional. "

"The apartments are in a good location and have great potential, but the way they have been maintained and the external noise spoiled our experience (even with ear plugs, as suggested by the company). The building is beautiful with rooms which have a grand appearance, double height ceiling and a mezzanine for children’s beds to provide some privacy, had they been better apportioned it would have been the perfect stay. The main attractions are all within 5-10mins walk so great to get around. A few thoughts on the room, it was large spacious and well laid out, but the beds were old and poorly looked after, the master bed mattress was broken and should have been changed. The fridge didn’t work, didn’t keep anything cool, The safe was not fixed down so could be taken from the room. Although the room was clean on arrival we were informed it would not be cleaned unless expressly requested, this was ok for our short stay but we asked for the bins to be changed and this was not done. The staff running the rooms were friendly but appeared too busy to help out much, although there were coffee and tea making facilities we had to request a spoon as extra, as none were provided as a basic. The nighttime noise was more than expected with people partying throughout the night so unless you are ready to join the party this room may not be for you. "

"Our stay was incredible. Fulvio was an incredible host and exceeded our expectations. He was so accommodating with our need for an additional night and we were always met with kindness. The room was always clean, Fulvio was accessible for anything we needed. The property is in a great spot in Florence and we were so grateful to be staying here. The room was the wonder and a pretty big space. We hope to be coming back and booking here again."
