"Solid choice in the south Newcastle area. Rooms were older but well maintained - sort of classic Route 66 motel era, or in other words, charming. Good television channel selection, plenty of hot water, and biscuits (cookies) included with the tea and coffee items, along with a small carton of milk, which I just love. Easy parking right in front of the room. Next door to a 7-Eleven with a Subway and an Oporto, but I recommend a visit to the attached pub for a full-on Aussie experience."

"We had an overnight stay at Pippi’s after being at Port Macquarie for the day and geez I must say for hotel/pub accommodation this place was just great. The check in procedure was so swift with the lady assisting just superb and so friendly. She personally escorted out to the stairway and pointed us to our room which was very helpful. "Clean room, but rusty shower rail and damaged blinds in bedroom, but overall good value for the money. Good pub with excellent food. Another oub where you would get a discount for being a menber but only staying for a couple of nights its not worth the hassle. Plenty of parking at the rear. "
