"Great staff - We landed Lima in the morning andvthe staff arranged us early check in at noon.
Great location - The hotel located at the historic center which is few minutes walk to a lot of scenery.
Well maintained Property - Although the property is a bit old but is properly maintained. Rooms, corridor and lobby are always clean.
Fresh breakfast - All the food offered are fresh, delicious and more than enough."
"We received 2 bottles of water the first night, but apparently had to pay for the other nights waters. It’s the little things that would highlight a place, for example, why not have a place to refill your original water bottles. It would help the environment and it would be up to us to take care of that. We did request more water at reception and the person that helped us could not find more water bottles to give us; when he finally did find more water, we were told it was on him. I think he was embarrassed to charge us. Room and bathroom were clean. Although the bathroom had a lot of light switches, we could never get it bright enough, to put make up on. Hotel was ok, but nothing stood out. Reception people were friendly. "
"Staying at Second Home Peru was an unforgettable experience. The house itself is a vibrant sanctuary, filled with colorful artwork and striking sculptures by the renowned Victor Delfín. Every corner feels alive with creativity, and the breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean make it even more magical.
Lilian is a welcoming hostess—warm, attentive, and always ready to help. Her hospitality made the stay feel personal and special.
The location in Barranco couldn’t be more perfect. It’s within walking distance of excellent restaurants, cozy cafés, and streets adorned with murals. Iconic spots like La Santissima
Cruz de Barranco Church and the Bridge of Sighs are just steps away, adding to the neighborhood’s charm and lively vibe.
Second Home Peru is not just a place to stay—it’s an immersion into art, culture, and the soul of Lima. Highly recommended for anyone seeking beauty, inspiration, and genuine hospitality."
