Hakodate Yunokawa Onsen Umi to Akari / Hewitt Resort

"One of the better hotels we have stayed at. The breakfast buffet was huge and the selection of local fish and vegetables was terrific. Room was relatively large by Japan standards and very comfortable.
The important question is would we stay there again. ABSOLUTELY! "
"Hotel has some nice Nebuta float style items in the lobby location has parking right next to it and other contracted ones nearby if you have a rental car. The room itself is your typical Japanese room, small, big enough for your bed and that's it. It was a bit dry but they had the heat on since it was pretty much under 8 degrees the entire few days we were in there.
Staff was nice, obviously because this is not Tokyo, staff speak very little English so you should use your translator app/device if needed. While I was there, they did have a fluent English speaker there that made everything a lot easier as well.
Location is close to the waterfront where you can then follow to the Tourist building then to the museum and A factory and Beach."
"Onsen and viewing lounge is wonderful. Room is good overall , and the view fantastic on the right floor n direction. 8 mins walk to jr hakodate , and located in the heart of hakodate fish market. Breadfast can be chosen from 19 restaurants associated with the hotel,, though, not all breadfast is good."
