"Beautiful resort right on the beach in Santa Marta. Very close to the airport but a ways from the city proper. Rooms was great. Restaurant was fabulous. Getting transport from airport was a bit messy but getting to the airport was simple and easy. "
"Nice sea view room, location, facilities, and breakfast. Lunch and dinner not so good. Repetitive menu and not very fresh food. Good pizza and fresh juices. The worst part was 2 very loud corporate events on 2 of our 4 nights there till early morning. Great disrespect for the guests’ rest. (It was low season so hotel not full)"
"Great hotel, great location, good restaurants. Awesome holiday.
Tip: upon check in, do ask if they foresee any oarties, concerts or loud events. There were parties 3 nights in a row, music was great but it went on past midnight. "
"So you're going to Santa Marta and want to stay in a nice hotel? Or like me, you only stay with Hiltons. Simply said, go to the Garden Inn. Its nothing like the ones in the US, way better, cleaner, way better service than the Hilton Santa Marta and the area is super safe ans walkable with amazing food and activity options near you.
The Hilton Santa Marta beach is disgusting, not ptivate and out of control in every way, safety vendors absolutely gross beach too. You'll get an amazing view and a nice adult pool with a nice bar and views. Thats is all!!
You want an ATM drive 30 minutes. You want to pay with dollars, nope! I've been here twice and will never come back. Zero management anywhere! Over worked agents ans often unsupervised. Nobody available to talk to if needed. I kidd you not on Sundays the entire big *ss hotel has zemo managers and young overworked supervisor too timid and not trained well for manageement requirement, the poor girl tries hard but left alone in a jungle with tools to lead. You're trying to check in? Good luck wait 30 minutes. You want to check out you're in a line for 1 hour. 2 agents in the front desk and about 7 or 8 in the back office hanging out...nonmanagement available to take action. Elevator waiting gets super annoying. Food is just decent nothing special. Management thing that good service = trying to be efficient and nothing else....I Swear I was blown away about the Garden inn quality of service attentivemanagement everywhere...wow! "
"I loved my stay here, with beach access, great food, and beautiful pools. I had an adjoining room on both of my stays here. Both times I had a lot of noise from the hotel guests n this rooms. So loud, that it seemed like the door was wide open. Both times young babies were crying during the night and during the day. Also, I found the process of getting a pool towel and filtered water to be cumbersome. Bar service was poor in the pool areas. "
"I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The property is beautiful and very well maintained, and the food was absolutely delicious. The staff at the pool and restaurant were amazing—very friendly and attentive. A special shoutout to Kenzo for his excellent customer service and attention to guests. He truly made our stay even more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to coming back!"
