Huong Giang Hotel Resort and Spa
10/10 Excellent
"We had an excellent stay here. It’s an older hotel but is well looked after by wonderful staff. Lovely outdoor area overlooking the river which was great for a drink before heading out into town. It’s very close to lots of great restaurants and bars. Pool is lovely and the breakfasts were fantastic. Loved this place - definitely recommend it!"
"everything was exceptional, we travel full time and this has been one of our best stays, especially for the price. Shout out to Van Duc for being a great first and last impression of our stay. They even surprised me with a Bday cake and a song. without a doubt I would stay again. "
"The Kobi Onsen resort is a new, up and coming resort located near Hue. Just outside the city proper, it provides transportation to many nearby activities. The rooms were fantastic and the resort was incredible. We took advantage of the Onsen and the Spa and enjoyed both. Two areas to improve would be: (1) in the responsiveness to orders - it often took quite a while to get drinks; and (2) the meals - we had several meals there. I would recommend westerners avoid the western food - it might not live up to standards.
Overall, this is a fantastic new resort and I would absolutely stay there again. Relaxing by the Koi Pond and enjoying the pina coladas was a peak of the trip for us."
"This is probably the friendliest hotel I have ever stayed in. It wasn't because they felt they had to be nice but genuinely all just seemed to be lovely people who couldn't do enough for me. Without trying to sound trite, it really was nice to come back to every time as they all seemed so pleased to see you.
I thought I would be late arriving, as there was an issue on the railway line from Da Nang, so I messaged the hotel. Unlike most places I contact, the reply came back almost straight away. They welcome I got when I arrived was so warm, and the property so beautiful, I immediately booked for an extra night and would happily have stayed forever.
I had a spa with Su, which I think originally should have been 60 minutes. However it took as long as it needed to and rather than just being a set massage from the menu, it was entirely suited to my needs and I felt incredible after.
The amazing manageress informed me at breakfast on my final day, that the railway line was again closed but she arranged a private car, that cost me less than the Grab I had to get on the way there. The driver did a detour via the spectacular Hai Van Pass and stopped at the top for me to admire the view at my own pace.
I would love to back to this hotel or the other one they have. I even purchased a bottle of the scent you can smell throughout the hotel, to remind me of my stay."
"Staff were lovely and couldn't do enough for us. Our room, whilst quite large, didn't have a window and the black furnishings weren't to our taste and also highlighted dust in, for example, slatted bathroom door. Breakfast was good. Location was excellent. Dinner not served in the hotel, but lots of excellent options close by."
"Clean Room-Exceptional staff-Beautiful Property -Great Location for getting to the sights and train with short taxi ride though just Ok for walking around due to traffic and limited sidewalk space.
The staff was exceptional. Vy helped tremendously in assisting with logistics to maximize our limited time in Hue. Alice at the phenomenal buffet was very attentive and friendly through out our hours long feast:)
Tranquil refreshing ( chilly at night) pool and lovely Saunas , steam and hot stone, within impeccably clean expansive shower area with helpful attendant. We wish we had more nights to enjoy our stop at Indochine Palace. "
